This restaurant is black cuisine at its finest! Delicious food and exceptional customer service. About the food?every single... morsel was some of the best I?ve had. Let me focus on some of the highlights. The home fries are incredible. Very savory and sowell seasoned. Absolutely could?ve been satisfied with just eating that. I would highly recommend them. The French toast though?Crazy delicious! A must have. As mentioned, everything was delicious but those two items were the superstars. My very picky andhard to please son had the veggie omelette and gave it a perfect 10. My daughter had the catfish with a waffle, and added a sideof bacon and fries and gave everything a perfect 10. Now?about the service?the service here was so exceptional, it truly shouldbe the standard for all restaurants to live by. Our waitress was phenomenal, very knowledgeable, and very attentive. Overall, this will not be our last visit and I would highly recommend paying this local gem and landmark a visit. ?? ???????? Read more

I was in los angeles for my birthday and I wanted to find a good breakfast restaurant. So I did my research as usual and found... the Serving Spoon. The food and service was excellent ???? I had cheese grits, eggs, homemade potatoes with peppers and onions, and homemade turkey sausage. Omg the potatoes and turkey sausage was so freakin good. I cook a lot at home so I had highexpectations, and the food exceeded my expectations. The Cali love was in full effect when I went. I had an older couple eatnext to me, and when they found out it was my birthday, and I was from Florida they secretly paid for my food thank you so muchand I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in los angeles. One of the servers even sang me a birthday song #Goodtimes. Thisis a must eat for breakfast get there early this place is super busy on the weekends and parking isn't plentiful and there mightbe a wait but it's definitely worth the wait!!!!!!! Read more
