Food is always delicious and the current staff is the bomb dot com! Staff and guests are friendly. Good mix of music and people.
I'd been feeling some ribs lately, and being a local to the Inwood area, I wanted to try something new (to me), and a local... shop. I placed an online order for a full rack of ribs, mac and cheese, and green beans, as well as a burger and fries for mylady. Gus' did not disappoint. The ribs quite literally fell off the bone unwrapping them from the tin foil. The house BBQ sauceI got was perfect; slightly tangy, a bit smoky, and delicious. My fiance loved the burger and said it was one of the best she'dever had. I didn't dine in, so I am not sure what that experience is like, but it was definitely a "bar and grill" sort of feel,though not like a chain. I will definitely get BBQ from Gus' again! Read more
Mike and I stopped in here on a whim. We never realized what an incredible place this is! Right away, we need to write that we... are HIGHLY RECOMMENDING that you stop in here and eat their meals! You can see by the photos that the plates are filled withdelicious foods. The pulled chicken was a delight. The ribs are to die for!! And Mike decided to order the second plate ofbrisket (after driving 8 hours, he can have whatever he wants!) He's barely uttered a word! The chef cooks the food for hoursand hours on their smoker outside!! When you stop in, ask for Ashley! She's a ball of fire, with the utmost most pleasantpersonality! She's given us so much info about many foods!! By the way, the coleslaw is her very own recipe ????!! We trulyappreciated Iman who took our order and was so pleasant to us!! They have the best meat in town! Besides my husband's of course. Haha We get the platter for two and it's so juicy and full of... flavor. The only complaint I have is the sides. Bland. And the baked potatoes must be done in the microwave because aftersending it back, the next one still came out half raw. Read more
