We went on Sunday evening. I ordered the Caesar salad, requesting crispy chicken. I was refused the crispy chicken on my salad.... And then the server came back to say they were out of Romaine lettuce and did I want iceberg lettuce instead. I said no thankyou. I will not pay $13 for an iceberg lettuce salad. Also, their burgers don't include sliced tomato. Good food overall. Read more
It is actually pretty good for the Ridgecrest area, but my frame of reference is a little wider than that, so it suffers in... comparison. I don't remember what I ordered, so I guess that's one indication that the meal wasn't memorable. Others in theparty seemed to enjoy their food well enough, but again they were locals and this is one of the 'fancier' places they haveaccess to. Hope that doesn't sound too snooty. One of the fun features is the wide-ranging choices of sodas, hard ciders, andother drinks they offer, many of which are made next door. Service was friendly. Great beer and cozy atmosphere. The bar sitting area was comfy like being at home. Though I didn't eat at this visit, their food... was good last time I did eat there. Also, the dining room has a nice view of the valley and mountains. Read more
Best ribeye I've ever tasted. The atmosphere and people are astonishing especially the company I was with. They are regulars... here. Nothing beats a great meal accompanied with laughter and a glass of wine. Read more
