Good location and cool atmosphere for a fast food joint. We go here often for the ice cream. I would not recommend the food.... Have some patience because high school kids run the shop, and they may fat finger an order on the register or something.However, we all start somewhere and they do a good job with all things considered. A lovely, homey ambiance with comfy furniture to hang out in and warm surroundings, so much better than a dirty, bare, plastic... and metal corporate store. Service is friendly and professional. I came in last-minute hoping to find an ice cream cake for mydaughter's birthday and they had exactly what I needed ready to go in the freezer (even though it was January!) and cheerfullypersonalized the cake for me. This should not be considered a Dairy Queen. The prices were OUTRAGEOUS. $10.75 for a 4 piece chicken strip basket?? And $6.50... for cheese balls? Definitely not DQ prices, and not even DQ food. For your safety, I recommend that you only get take out instead of dining in, and that includes the tables outside. Or,... insist that they sanitize your table and chairs before you sit to eat. My friends and I sat down inside to eat dinner and thenget dessert. During the entire time we were in there, the front counter was only sprayed and wiped down three times...and withthe same towel each time instead of paper towels or wipes. The indoor tables were only wiped down if an obvious spill had beenmade by one of the kids. The outdoor ones were never disinfected. None of the chairs were wiped, and neither were the couchesor end tables, or even the counter that held condiment packets. Adults were required to wear masks, but the rule was notenforced for children, pre-teens, or teens. All of the staff wore masks, but no one wore gloves, even when filling the napkinholders at the tables, which had been touched by many hands, but never sanitized. Then he went straight back to making dippedcones and handing them to people with the same bare hands. Ick!!! The food, desserts, and drinks were really good, though. Thepizza burger was very yummy, the quarter-pound cheeseburger was delicious with a crispy edge, and the chicken tenders werefantastic! The fries were good -- but DON'T get chilli on them; it was watered-down and extremely bland! And of course, thedessert, blizzard, and malt that we tried were all wonderful! So, be very careful!!!
