Had a wonderful experience here! I loved the ambiance and the waiters are all very pleasant. Now to comment on the food.. My... husband had steak and I had halibut. Steak was good and very fatty however feel like it needed more sauce. Halibut was nicetexture however there needs to be more sauce on the plate and maybe more citrus in the sauce to keep the dish vibrant. Look imno master chef but im sure you cant go wrong with extra sauce. ???? Read more
My husband and I had an absolutely fabulous experience at Joseph's. We told our superb waiter, Peter, that we were celebrating... our anniversary. He was so kind as to bring us champagne to celebrate the special occasion. The food and drinks were sodelicious. The chicken marsala was the best dish I have ever eaten. One of the best restaurants I have been to in downtown Iowa City. Close to hilton hotel where I stayed for over a month. Had... gone there for the first time with my coworkers and I loved the place, service and oh boy the food. Peter who served us was verywelcoming and suggested few drinks and dishesh with charm. He has great ability to keep the customer engaged and happy. Hesuggested A different style of Margarita and I fell in love with it so much, that I have had it many a times since then. ChickenMarsala almost gave me foodgasm and so did the onion rings. They have a bar outside where I had a few drinks, Thanks to Peterand Hannah for their great customer service and I shall visit Josephs again soon. Read more

Peter was our waiter and he made our 16th wedding anniversary so special!!! He is amazing and knowledgeable. The food was... perfection and the cocktails were awesome!!!!!
