Today was my first time to visit this place. I took my friend for coffee and tasty pastries. We had the Horchata Latte(hot)... Pastelitos de Guayaba y queso y Quesadilla. Everything was so good and delicious. The Owner are so nice and pleasant to speakwith. They have a great selection of pastries, sandwiches. They have American and Latino hot and cold drinks. Have ordered delivery from them in the past and finally went in person to order when I was in the downtown Iowa City area. They... are very nice and welcoming, the food is excellent, and they have a lovely, partially covered patio area in the back where thereis room for small to medium sized groups. It is right across the street from the Iowa City Public Library. I highly recommendgetting a book to read from the library and then heading to Mammitas to enjoy a nice treat on their patio and read/study :) Read more
Me and my wife ordered latte and cappuccino. It was horrible coffee, it was just combined a shot of espresso and warm milk. I... expected silky micro foam, but I could not see that. And they charge over $4 each for fake latte and cappuccino. Shame on you!! Read more
