Lovely venue. Split a steak with my boyfriend and the portion was great for sharing. No complaints! Some of the best food in... Iowa City! Service was very disappointimg coming from a fellow server myself. I found her to be rude and degrading when askingquestions about the menu and wanting my wedge fries to be extra crispy. Really enjoyed DJ'ing a wedding at RCC last night. TOP NOTCH STAFF! The family was able to just show up to their own party and... not worry about a thing. Very accommodating, professional, sharp staff...all in an absolutely beautiful building with very niceacoustics due to old, soft barn wood. Didn't try the cider due to work, but am assuming it is fabulous due to the lines waitingfor refills. Family style food worked amazingly and brought new people together in an intimate way with sharing a meal, ratherthan burning through a buffet line and weaving through others doing the same. LOVED working here and throwing a greatcelebration for an awesome family. It was okay. It wasn't awesome but it wasn't terrible. My girlfriend wasn't real impressed with the cajun chicken sandwich, she... got. The bread and pickles tasted way off left a funny taste in the mouth, not sure that was suppose to happen but she loved thechicken itself. I had the burger and that was fine, figured something simple was the way to go. It wasn't real busy which wasnice as well. We had a couple cocktails and those were well made. All in all it wasn't terrible but we wouldn't travel out ofthe way to go back. Read more
