We live in Irmo and wanted a place we could go and have a drink but when we went to the tavern with a service dog, they refused... us. The senior owner does not allow service dogs even when I informed them I was an army veteran with 4 combat tours. I foughtfor their right of freedom and they repay us with anti veteran policies. No patriot should join a club who is anti veteran. Read more
If I could do zero stars I would, we were told the Senior Owner is very strict and does NOT Want even service dogs in his place,... not even for a 32 yr Army Vet, 4 combat tours, I was a first responder our service dog is trained, registered well behaved etc.But was not even allowed to enter from outside, we were looking for a place to go and have a drink. Both life members of theVFW, memberships are not new to us. But I guess better to know now before paying for a membership that it is NOT a Veteran,first responder friendly with a Service Dog.
