Always the best pasty we have! Just wish they were open more often ?
Yum! Little whole in the wall shop that has the best pasty in MI. drove 3 hrs to get a couple. 1 hot and a few frozen to bring home.
My family is from Hurley so I?ve grown up eating Pasty?s from Joe?s for 23 years. Every time I make a trip up north I have to stop here and get some. The taste is so comforting and everything about them is just so good. The crust, meat and potatoes always just hits the spot. So yummy! Make the stop?you won?t regret it! I?ve gotten some frozen to go last weekend when I was up and they?re just as good!
Ordered Pasty and soda. The sofa was two years expired. The pasty could of been cooked a little longer but was tasty and packed full of filling. Service was friendly!
Stopped in to try a Pasty while passing through town. We had never heard of such a thing.... This is an amazing little town old dinner. It is an older place that is not very big, but definitely where the locals go for fresh food and take-outs. The workers were non stop in and out of this place ordering several of these pasty things to go! My wife and I each ordered one off the limited menu. A sweet little old lady ran the place all by herself. She was extremely busy... We both thought the pasty was like a calzone, but with a flaky pie crust filled with whatever toppings they made for that day. Lot of choices to choose from, however by lunch time they do sell out of them daily. You could take them hot or cold! It was great. Fun experience and very cheap.
Pasties are simple, hot and tastes really good. Big pasty size for the price! Loaded with potatoes and onions. I wish they added little more meat in it.
I loved Joe's Pasty as a kid, now I can't wait to get back to Ironwood and pick up a bunch. I have had others but Joe's is the Best! Was back in the area this summer and made sure that I got over to Joe's to get my pasty fix. They were great as always. Only wished I could take some back to California with me...
The best pasty shop in the UP! We ordered the delicious pasties from Joe's for our whole family while on vacation over Fourth of July. It was exactly as we remember, having eaten there for many years passed during our previous visits to the UP. Their authentic pasties are prepared perfectly and excellent to take on the go. A Treasure in UP Michigan! Can?t wait to visit again!
