First off, staff is great, attentive and cheerful. They bring the meal to your seat. Tortilla soup was tasty. I wish they had... chicken noodle. I had the New Yorker, pastrami, and corned beef sandwich. A few tweaks need to be made to be a true New Yorker.Toast needs to be a little crunchier, not soft, the meat needs to be a little more well done and more mustard, spicier mustard.Could have used a pickle to seal the deal. Sour or semi sour, either way, if you are making a New York sandwich, you need thepickle. To be clear, this hit the spot, I highly recommend. My few suggestions would have made it 5 stars. Read more
Emily and Dixie provided the best service I've ever experienced at a McAlister or anywhere; actually. They were very attentive... and eager to help. They checked on my partner and I to make sure we had everything we needed once we received our food. Theyalso were personable and shared their memories of toys r us with us; which really made us feel welcomed and not just anothercustomer dining. I really enjoyed the food and conversation!!! I really wish the website would tell you the orders are being delivered by Doordash. I ordered lunch for my staff and I alway... tip based off service of catering, but since it went through DD I didn?t tip as I normally do because I thought the receiptwould be given when the food was delivered.. the guy was so nice and I feel bad. On top of that we spent $260 to get one flavorof chips. I requested a few of each, I wasn?t too happy abt that. Maybe we should try a different company next time. Read more
The customer service at this location is decent. However, the restaurant is filthy! I wish I had taken photos. As I looked to... find a booth to eat my meal today, I noticed that every booth has food in the cracks. So disgusting! It?s not new dirt/build up;this is the case during my last few visits. I?m new to this area, but not to McAlister?s. This is the first time I?ve ever beento a location that was this dirty. Underneath the parchment paper on my salad tray, there was a few pieces of Spring Mix/purplelettuce, while I had a Caesar salad (romaine lettuce). This leads me to believe I was given a dirty tray or food is not beingappropriately handled in back. Cleanliness and appropriate food handling, especially in today?s environment is extremelyimportant to me and it guides me in my decision as it relates to selecting a place to eat. If counter tops, ledges of booths,window ledges, tables, floors, truly basic details are being missed, I believe this speaks to the food safety and handlingmishaps that are occurring in back and also speaks to the validity of many of the other recent reviews I am reading.
