Our favorite restaurant to visit in Ithaca! The oysters are always amazing. The creole style food is delicious. I had the shrimp... and grits last time I was there and it was really good. They always have a good local beer selection and the service neverdisappoints. If you're visiting in the summer months just beware that there's no air-conditioning. They do bring in extra fanson really hot days though. Read more
We came here with a group of 8 with a reservation and were not told that there wouldn't be A/C. The restaurant has a cool... section and not cool. We were told there wasn't space for 8 inside but I later saw a table of 8. Restaurant seating: Sectionwithout A/C was full of flies and hot as hell on a summer day. It made it impossible to enjoy the food. Food review Appetizerswere good. Gumbo and crab corn chowder were hits. Entrees were a bit and miss. Seared ahi tuna was a miss. While the side dishof potato cake was the star the $34 tuna was completely underwhelming. The only way to eat this dish was mixing potato with thetuna itself to mask the tuna taste. Got a reservation prior. We got 2 appetizers, 2 drinks and the raw platter to share. The portions were good and the drinks were... wonderful.
