Edit: 8 October 2022 - This place has seriously gone down hill. It's like no one cares anymore. The place is FILTHY, the... condiment stand/drink station is so gross I didnt even dare touch anything & even though we went in the afternoon during a slowperiod, there was not a single clean (wiped off) table in the entire place. There is food under the tables and everything seemsto have a sticky grime to it. I would hate to see the kitchen. The food is seriously overpriced and poor quality! My husband'sgreen chile burger had a hard bun and as soon as he tried to pick it up, half the toppings just fell out all over the plate.They also only gave us one plate with both of our burgers and our fries on. So I had to ask for another plate, and napkins,since they didn't have any out, in order to be able to eat without reaching across the table. The owners need to wake up, getsomeone in here to seriously deep clean this place and get some employees who care about doing their job instead of being ontheir phone. Never returning!! Their battered fries are TO DIE FOR! They have a little bit of everything so everyone can findsomething they like... And it's all made fresh. Good food, friendly staff. Family owned business. On a trip out west last year, one of our stops was St. George, UT. We tried The Ice Box then and we were very happy with the... food! On our trip this year, we found ourselves hungry a little later in the evening and remembered that they were open until10p. We ordered about 30 mins before they closed and the younger employee was more then friendly and helpful. The food was100% spot on. One of the best hamburgers, and overall meals of the entire trip! I was very disappointed in the restaurant. The dining area was dirty, littered with food and napkins. One employee had her young... kids running around all over and tossing food at each other. The paid help had no uniforms. The ice cream machines were notclean and a few were broken and the ice cream was too soft. No one made any attempt at cleaning the place. I visited therestroom which was not very clean. I think that the Restaurant health inspectors should make a surprise visit to the restaurant.Tables not wiped as people left. We all four decided we would never go back. Why would a manager take on all that responsibilityfor $1 more then the cook. There are Loose wires as you come in from the parking lot. Great burgers, fries, and nachos, but they are sooooo slow. Like, so slow. And they don't seem to care about it or attempt to... make it any better. It's been many years since they opened, and it's always been the same. Sometimes you can stand at the frontof the line in front of the register for serval minutes before they even acknowledge that you're there. Then, once your order isplaced, expect to wait a good long while. I enjoy their food, but I only go during off hours and when I have plenty of time towait for the food. Read more
