Consistency is an issue at this BBQ joint. Brisket was terrible today. Brisket was gray, full of fat that was not rendered, and... connective tissue you couldn't bite into making it inedible. Potato salad was one of the best mustard based potato salads I haveever had. Service was excellent and staff was very friendly, so if the brisket is bad just don't serve it or suggest somethingelse. The brisket and burnt ends were incredible! Make sure you get some Mac n cheese too!
The good thing was fast service, portion size was fair, taste was fair, but the brisket was chewy, never have I ever had chewy... brisket. Just wondering is their prime rib (which was more expensive) the more tender cut? Not sure what happened, just know thebrisket was chewy and horrid. Read more
