The food is excellent as always but the gentleman working in the kitchen/taking orders is one of the rudest people I?ve seen in... this location. Had 3 new customers with me for those famous ears & smokes, he?s makes me definitely rethink coming back as longas he?s there just nasty customer service skills!!! Read more
Visited 4/12/22 I had been wanting to try this place since I saw it featured on DDD, and I wasnt let down. The smoked... sausage/red-hot sandwich was delicious, the tamales were even better. I wouldn't order the pig ear again, just not for me thatday. Fast and friendly service. If you think you can eat 2, order 3. They're smaller than you think. Read more
Look closely when you're eating. I seen tiny little bugs all over my smoke. They were so tiny I couldn't tell what they were.... You cant even see them on the photo. Not to mention the big one which I hope was a piece of pig ear with long hair still on it.I wish I would've never taken that one bite. Thanks for ruining my fav childhood spot. Never knew where Big Apple Inn was, but found it while picking something up off Northside & State Street. Three delicious smoked... sausage sandwiches for under $5 bucks. Can't beat that! Miss Grill Master is camera-shy but has a beautiful smile. ???????? Read more
