Nestled between two-story row houses and multifunctional office buildings, you'll find Elvie's, next to Today's Donuts. I... ordered the Boozy Iced Coffee and it did not disappoint the taste buds. The Avocado Toast with [optional] poached egg and a sideof bacon was more than enough for this Gastric Sleeve Bitti. We visited Elvie's on a recommendation; & what a GREAT recommendation. We ate at Elvie's on a Saturday at 10 & were able to sit... at the chef's counter. First time in Jackson, and found this delicious little gem. Located in the Belhaven neighborhood, with a distinct French feel,... this place is a must try. We went in for breakfast, had a couple of bellinis and a Dutch baby to start, then I had the duckfathashbrowns, while my husband had their biscuits and gravy. Everything was absolutely amazing, the taste, the presentation, theambience, the service. Kristina was our server, she was attentive without being intrusive, and not only did she give us greatrecommendations for the menu, but also recommended some local places for us to check out. Been to Elvie’s several times, and have not been disappointed. Their food is delicious, prepared with loving soul! The server... was not as fast and caring today as usually but she was friendly.
