The food was amazing! The staff was very nice, the hostess with long black hair on Saturday was very nice, and the waitress was... very accommodating. My favorite waitress, tall with the long light brown hair (Myra I think), wasn?t there, but still greatstaff! Read more
First time diner. Heard great things so wanted to try it out. Hands down the best fried green tomatoes I?ve ever had at a... restaurant in my entire life! Most times when you order fried green tomatoes they are like an imitation of the real thing, hugethick slices, frozen and pre breaded. NOT THESE!!! These are homemade from scratch! Just like my grandma made! This will be theonly reason I come back, these and the hush puppies , I didn?t care that much for the catfish or the coleslaw. The service was excellent was seated shortly after arriving and waitress was friendly. The food was good only thing was I didn't... taste all the flavor in the hamburger steak like usual but I was still able to enjoy just with extra steak sauce. I am sure itwill be better next time. We were here for my parents' 22nd Anniversary! We had a great time. I can see why this place has so many awards. I ordered fried... catfish with fried shrimp & fries. Absolutely delicious! The hush puppies they had were some of the best I've ever had! Thecatfish was so fresh that it almost fell apart in my fingers. My mom & I split a hot fudge cake. It was absolutely delicious! Ihad hot fudge cake before at a more expensive place but the sauce there was so rich that I couldn't taste it. But not here! Nottoo rich, just right. The service was great too!
