I love this place. If and whenever I'm in the mood for bbq, I automatically choose this place because not only is the food good... but the price is reasonable. This is the highest rated BBQ joint in the area and it's pretty good. The menu is pretty big, but it's mostly variations of a... few core items. It's a great way to run a shop like this. The Slaw Dog was great. The hot dog was beef and tasted great. I gotmine with onions and mustard and I loved it. The BBQ plate was good too. The pork was really good smoked pork. It had a nicesmoke ring and good bark. There wasn't any rub on it, which was actually pretty nice. It paired great with the hot BBQsauce. They use quite a bit of store bought items, like the potato salad, doctored beans, no bake cheesecake, but it doesn'tmatter. It's not a pretentious BBQ shop. It's just good food you want to eat.
