Disappointed. We were traveling on I40. Read reviews and decided to try this one out. Google listing showed the restaurant to... be dine-in, drive-thru, and delivery. We got there and it was drive-thru. We did order and had to eat it in the car which isdifficult with BBQ. Portions were good and the employee was kind and accommodating. However, the pork we had had no smoketaste. This made us want to go back home to Texas for BBQ. Read more

I hate to say this as my wife loved this place when she was a kid, however, after trying it today, sadly, I have to say it was... the worst BBQ place I've ever experienced, anywhere, and I've been to hundreds. My wife ordered the BBQ plate with coleslaw andpotato salad. The BBQ had no flavor and was cold and dry. The coleslaw was chopped cabbage with a little vinegar mixed in. Thepotato salad was bland and flavorless. There were baked beans also, but tasted like plain canned pork and beans. I orded thechicken plate with slaw and FRIES. I was told that if I ordered fries it would have to be both sides for some reason. We droveoff after getting order. Chicken was completely dried out and not edible! Fries were cold and had obviously been cooked hoursbefore. I expected so much more, but was completely disappointed. I gave the chicken to my dog and everything is else for thrownaway.
