Compared to local competitors with similar menu options, their pricing takes into account the quantity and quality of their... food. Their sandwiches are hearty. I have paid more $$ for sandwiches at other restaurants that are toasted flat and barely haveany protein. I have paid for sub par cuban coffee in small to-go cups whereas 1928 charges less for a larger cup size.Alternative ?milk? options are available. Large assortment of pastries and appetizers. Overall, the food, coffee, pastries aretop-notch. Due to their popularity, they can get very busy and packed inside and outdoors. The staff is always busy doing theirbest to meet demand. Giving this place a 4. It?s got a cute interior, a nice staff, and the food is pretty good. They fill those sandwiches up, but... it?s a bit awkward to eat to really get a balanced mouthful of meat, cheese, and everything else. About $30 for two sandwichesand a side of plantains. Read more
Would definitely recommend! The atmosphere was amazing, right along with the food! I was just there yesterday after passing it... many times. As a Cuban, Miami native my standards are set pretty high and they did not disappoint at all! They have their owntwist on certain items, nonetheless still very delicious! On top of all that their customer service was amazing! The owners wentaround asking us and others how everything was. Extending their services.
