We came here because of the positive reviews and we were not disappointed. The Chicago style deep dish is so good that my... youngest daughter are 2 slices by herself. She has never done that. We definitely plan to return. Read more
This might have finally fixed the itch for some authentic delicious deep dish pizza. I've tried maybe half a dozen other places... around Jacksonville and this place absolutely brings it home. I was visiting Jax on business and, as always, wanted to try a good pizza joint. After extensive searching I selected Carmines... Pie House, primarily because the pics looked good and I was feeling deepdishy, And thank goodness! I had the 10" Chicago withpepperoni, sausage, and banana peppers and it was fantastic. The staff was very friendly and helpful, even navigating an issuewith the oven earlier in the day and still cranking out good pies in the afternoon! We were staying with another couple right up the road so we walked to this place for lunch on a Saturday. Fairly busy but very... fast service. My husband and I got slices - pepperoni and mine had jalapenos and spinach - and both were great! Also had agarlic bread appetizer which everyone enjoyed.
