I came here for lunch Sunday. Really quaint place. The atmosphere was great. The clear soup was good. Ginger salad was nice too.... The dressing was slightly different in taste than what I'm used to. I ordered the Madame Butterfly roll as well as yellowtailsashimi. I used the yum yum sauce. The service was really good also. My friend ordered the chicken hibachi. My daughter had theside order of fried rice. I definitely would like to come here again in the future and try more items in the menu. Read more
I cannot say a bad word because this sushi is so good every time and it's bright and not dark in there like other places. Staff... is so sweet but dang sushi its so expensive but so yummy! Do not go anywhere else in Oceanway thou- other places are NOT freshnor clean. This is the top place!! Read more
This is one of the first times I have been disappointed in a hibachi experience. The tricks the chef did were great. I love... their own twists and tricks. I did notice that the host was rude and rushing us but did not want to mention anything. At theend of the meal, my friend was charged an extra fine of soup and salad though he did not get one because he ordered sushi andwas only there since I and my other friend got hibachi. Also for the amount of food the chef gave I did not think was worth theprice. Though I do appreciate the chef for being able to make my steak medium rare which is quite rare for many places to do. Iunderstand that the restaurant was very busy but I feel like the whole experience was very rushed. Right after the chef servedour food the waitress came out with to go boxes and checks. Service was good, and plating was decent if you care about that. Price i would say is about 25% too high. I got the sushi, and... yakisoba, so i cant speak for the hibachi. Maybe its better, i dont know. All in all, quantity was a little lacking and tastewas okay. Not bad but not exceptional. Read more
