I used to love this location, but the last couple visits have been rather disappointing. The steak is unseasoned. And the birria... tacos were bland. No flavor whatsoever. The comsumè literally just tasted like beef water. Idk how else to describe it. Therice was pretty oily as well. I don?t know what has happened at this location but it?s disappointing. This place has changed a lot since the last visit. I was impressed friendly staff and super clean and fast service. There is a... lot of variety of food. The new manager Daniel goes to the tables making sure everything is okay which makes me feel welcome.This shows the difference between an authentic family owned place vs. big corporations. This was our first time eating here. We drove to Jax for an appointment at Mayo Clinic. We lucked out finding this place. My... husband got the bacon wrapped shrimp and I got the shrimp and steak. The flavors of both meals were great! In fact it was sogood we couldn't leave without trying the flan. It was the biggest serving of flan that I've ever had, and it was delicious.
