Not sure how I have not written a review for this place! It is one of my FAVORITE eateries in Jacksonville. It is absolutely... superb. It?s hard to even write a detailed review because everything is good. Literally everything. I didn?t picture it here,but my favorite items are the spinach pies, lentil soup and now the fries! (Peep the fries in the background with theMediterranean Chicken Pita which is also delicious.) The fries are so, so good. I want to say I was surprised, but am I? I loved everything about this place! James greeted us when we came in the door. He also does the photography for their Instagram... page. Not only are his photos and the food sumptuous, he went out of his way to make sure we felt at ease, welcomed, and had noproblems or questions concerning ordering. I love that energy when you come into a business! Every member of the staff was morethan accommodating, and I cannot say enough about the food. I really enjoyed this place. I ordered the platter, which had spinach pie, falafel, kibbeh and dolmades. For my sides I had... hummus and tabbouleh. My sister had the steak shawarma with cabbage salad and dolmades. The service was order at the counterand its brought to your table. The staff was friendly and attentive and the good came quickly. Just finished lunch with my wife and kids. The service was outstanding from beginning to end. The guy at the counter was helpful... with ordering. Food came out INSANELY fast. Order was perfect. Table service was better than at many fine dining restaurants.And the food was fabulous. I lived in the Middle East for 4 years. This place is simple authentic. Very homey feel.
