After passing this restaurant on many Occassions and finally given in to my growing curiosity and WIFE?s request. We entered... this restaurant at approximately 21:03 on Sunday the 28th of August 2022. The wait time was nonexistent so we were seatedimmediately, only to be rushed by our waitress to place our food and beverage orders ????. The Atmosphere was typical Japanesehibachi with a slightly dated ensemble of furniture and equipment. The menu did not offer the traditional lobster ???? tailand the steak was absolutely the thinnest and lightest per OZ weight that I had ever seen ???????????? in any restaurant.. Thecarrots which I was unaccustomed to were obviously out-of a can and tasted horrible. The chef was extremely friendly andskillful as he prepared our meals. Unfortunately I Quickly noticed that the back of the grill area was not cleaned properly from the previously cooked meal. I could only surmise that the grill temperature was to high as he frequently scrapped burntmaterials off the grill. ???? The seaweed salad & sushi was the BEST part of the dinning experience ????. At the conclusion ofthe meal I was questioning for asking for an additional to-go container and plastic bag ???? We decided to take our 4 year old and 5 month old out for a little excitement when it comes to dinner and the chef did not let... us down! My daughter had a blast and our table mates were totally cool. We tipped the busboy personally because he was workingextra hard and ensuring all our needs were met. We will Never Go back! The only reason why we went tonight was for our 14 year old granddaughter. We ordered softshell crab... appetizer, with one SMALL app, with nothing but all of these large fried vegetables. Terrible!! When we asked the manager, allshe said was that is how we do it. When my scallops were served CUT in HALF!! The managers stated that they cut it so they donot have to give customers knifes?! What? Scallops should never be cut, it takes away from the scallops succulent taste. Anotherpoor response from this manager. We spent well over $500.00 from our party and our gransdaughter?s birthday. This was my son's 19th birthday dinner and it felt very rushed. The chef was not engaging and focused mostly on the little girl... at the table. My sister asked that he keep her salmon and shrimp to the side and instead he cooked it on top of the place wherehe cooked the steak. I paid extra for my son's cake, picture and song and instead they included his song with the lady at thenext table. His picture was dark and very disappointing.
