A good local pub, with a great staff. Don't miss the Karaoke nights!
My favorite place for drinks, food (chicken quesadilla), and friendly bartenders and guests. I wish the full food menu was open later, but the extensive TouchTunes library makes up for it ?
I dont wanted to do this. I been going to this bar for a while now, I invite my friends over, I spend my money and tip bartenders well, I give nothing but benefits, as a patron, to this place. I been feeling uncomfortable lately, the tall blonde bartender' does not like me, I know it because her friend has assaulted while I wasplaying darts with a friend, to the point I has to stop and give the board to her intoxicated friend. I ended apologizing to avoid problems. But the curiosity is that last night I was given water without a logical explanation while this woman's supervision. Her problems are personal, because she yelled out loud at me when trying to leave" you're not coming back" when I refused water, and indeed, I've got my money I can go and spendit anywhereI want in Boston. They believe they're the owners because privileges, food and drinks. There's many characters in this bar that has have antagonized this place to the ground. Not coming back at all.
Jeanie Johnston?s is the most welcoming place. Mike and Steve always make sure we?re taken care of and are great company. Highly recommend!
We stumbled upon this amazing pub because we thought we'd catch a vibe at the midway... Well we immediately left there and headed to the Jeanie Johnston and were relieved to see there was normal people our age out on a Saturday night having fun and the pub was hosting karaoke. All the music gave us 90s nostalgia and the jello shots made us feel like we were in college again. From the moment we walked in we greeted by the friendly staff and literally everyone we met that night that worked there was super friendly and courteous. I really hope we get to go back there again thanks for a wonderful experience at a new place we've never been before. Highly recommend ??
This was the first bar I visited in Boston and I LOVE it! Definitely a regular now. The bartenders are so attentive and awesome, the atmosphere is super chill, they always have great games on the tvs. Stop here if you?re near the area!!!
Black haired bartender refused to serve me beer, told me to leave without any explanation. Seemed like xenophobia was the reason, since I look like an immigrant and have an accent. I used to like this place, and I live nearby. Very unfortunate.
Just moved to Boston and I think I love this bar!!! It was a great place, great service, awesome bar food...... And the beers were cold!!!! Wednesday night is trivia! It was CRAZY packed in there but so much fun!!! I think I love this place already! Can?t wait to come back again!
