Dogwood has become my husband and my favorite date spot! The staff is always delightful, and the food is always super tasty. We are massive fans of the calamari and the seasonal cocktail menu. Even if you want to have a salad, Dogwood kills it! The arugula salad with seared ahi tuna is my current summer favorite. Of course you cannot go wrong with the pizzas too - they're a perfect split entree after an appetizer. We will absolutely keep frequenting this super cozy, fun eatery!

I've only eaten in here once but unfortunately didn't have a great experience. We sat at the bar and when the bartender took my order I informed her I have a dairy allergy and asked what was in the veggie burger. It seemed she didn't know and instead of simply going to ask the chef, she told me it should be fine and gave off an attitude for my asking. So, I just went with it and took her word for it. Well, come to find out it is made with milk and I spent most of the next day and later that night sick. Not ideal and I was extremely irritated as it could have been avoided if she handled it differently. However, I called to let them know what happened and spoke to the manager. She was very apologetic and not only did they refund the entire order(I would have understood had it just been my order) but they also gave me a generous gift card. I appreciate them being willing to resolve the situation and I plan to return.

Dogwood has great food and staff. They definitely were hit by covid. Staffing shortage, etc. But we still had a great time and the waitress we had was incredible. We did have to wait for them to open (about 10 minutes late.. in the rain.. but like. local business in hard times. that's not bad at all. They can't control the weather.) and they were out of what we wanted (brisket!!), but what we ordered instead was still delicious and we still go that cozy atmosphere we were looking for. My advice, show up at least a half-hour after opening, bring your patience and sense of humor with you (it is a privilege to eat out) and be kind to your staff!!! I was really surprised by how rude people were over such small issues.

Set your expectations for ?good pub? and you?re ready to roll. I?ve only met friendly folks working there, and the food/drinks have always been good for a pub. I?d absolutely recommend going with friends, for sports etc? chill out and have a good time.

The food, atmosphere, and service was great. They were severely understaffed when we arrived, but they were so polite and apologetic, and it was SO worth the wait. I had the Juicy Lucy stuffed cheeseburger - absolutely fantastic.

This place was my favorite when I lived in JP like 10 years ago and just went back last week and it's still magical. The pizza options are diddly delightful and the cocktails are too. Friendly neighborhood feel and staff is so nice.

Went in on a Saturday evening around 6:30pm with no wait (for a table of 3) which was nice. It did take quite some time to be seen by the wait staff, which was frustrating. Once someone came to us we immediately put in our order for water, two drinks, an app, and three meals. Our drinks came well before our waters and we had to ask someone else for them. The table next to us was seated after us and received water first. Our appetizer was the potato skins. $13 for 5 small pieces is definitely not worth it. I got the classic Dogwood burger, which was $15. Pretty basic burger with no frills. A little dry. You can add a bunch of add ons but once you?re at $20 for a burger you kind of expect it to taste pretty awesome. I got the greens as a side and that was good. My friend?s meal (also a burger) was very late and they comped us for it, so that was nice. Overall they may be experiencing some staffing issues which explains the slowness but even then the food for price wasn?t worth it for me.

Decent local bar and the food is very good! Service is above average. I?ve been here twice now and both times had great food. Blueberry pie is massive and really tasty. Grilled salmon and Baked cod very delicious. Right beside forest hills T stop
