The place is small. Have to make a RSVP. The servers are kids & they put the menus that everyone touches on the plate.That to me... is GROSS. Stop #14 on our Pizza Tour 2022 is Romeo's Pizzeria in Jamesburg, NJ. Located right on the main strip next to the railroad... tracks, there is potential for some train watching if you're there at the right day/time. Small place. Kind of hectic at theordering counter when we were there (Noon...prime lunch time) but not bad. Only two small lunch tables in the counter area whichfelt a little cramped. Luckily, someone offered us their table as they were finishing up. They had an attached dining room whichI guess can be used by slice customers, not sure. A lot of orders seemed to be to-go orders. As for the pizza...today we gotplain and pepperoni slices. Nice sized slices. More tasty thin crust. Nice crisp crust bottom due to the heat-up in the pizzaoven. Crisp edge, chewy inside. Another great pizza for the folders out there. Good, balanced tomato sauce and great qualitycheese. Sauce was lightly spiced, not too sweet or bitter. Overall, another VERY good pizza. I have Gluten Intolerance. So I stick to what I know when ordering. I ordered Shrimp scampi Dinner option with Gluten Free pasta... and Gluten Free Chicken Parm Dinner. The nice thign is that they offered to grill the chicken breast for me and it wasdelicious. The pasta was a little undercooked but I guess that helped for any leftovers there were ( Sauces) to soften it up forlater. I?ve been here multiple times and had different kinds of pizza. My favorite flavor is Margherita, but I have to say that I don?t... like theirs. The 2 times I had it, it had a crazy amount of crushed tomato on top and the crust was soggy- I think this is theway they make it. However, the couple times I dined in and the other times I I ordered other food to take out it was good! Ilove their sausage w pepperoni pizza. I am from town and this is my to go Pizza spot. I was there for the Early Bird. Soup or Salad, numerous entrees, and desert. The cheese cake is very good and the cannolis... large and delicious.
