I had a plain waffle with sausage and coffee...my wife had some type of French toast and sausage and coffee... our bill was... about $40 with tip and tax etc. Sorta expensive for breakfast. I changed this to " 40"... I fixed my typo mistake for thebetter and the owner caught the mistake. I am glad they did. Part of our expense is that we tip nicely when we are out becauseservers have it tough sometimes in rural areas. We usually leave cash as a gratuity or extra little cash on the table or putit in their hand because the server can treat it how they like and split it or not. I still liked the restaurant. We stay justdown the highway from it. We drove by it a lot going to the falls or Jasper and they were always doing a good business. Iwould and probably will eat there again next time we are up for a float trip or to watch leaves turn. Read more

Stayed in the Bear cabin and had an evening meal in the restaurant. Cabin was very clean, well thought out, and in a nice quiet... location. The salad I got was delicious however it was really expensive for what you got. Small piece of chicken with one small strawberry... cut into slices and some lettuce. The burgers the other people at my table got were dry and just ok. Definitely not worth theprice especially when it doesn?t include fries. The staff was friendly and the view was great though. Breakfast was great. I recommend asking them to grill the biscuits to heat them. Pancakes needed a little something. Great... atmosphere and cozy little restaurant with amazing views. Those servers are lucky to have a job there, would be hard to have abad day at work there. Didn't get to stay in the hotel but I imagine it's cozy in a vintage time of the past feel. Read more
