My ex military father is always seeking out German restaurants having done three tours in Germany. Saw Schnitzelbank billboard... driving from MO to KY to visit so we decided on a short road trip to try. Loved everything about it! The building, musicoutside, gift shop inside, the food, the themed attire the wait staff wears, the decor. I was unsure about the red wine gravy inthe Goulash so they gave me a sample. Lots of good choices to eat here and a nice German gift shop. I ordered the Schweine Schnitzel with German potato salad and... sauerkraut. It was good and comes with a salad. The salad bar looks large and good but I didn't try it this trip. Read more
