We arrived after 8pm on a Sunday, so weren't expecting much. Almost no customers at that time. Despite closing at 9pm, the... buffet was still full and being refreshed right until we left. Our server JoAnn was top-notch, and pretty much everything I hadwas solid food for the price. Soup (2 kinds), salad bar with lots of options, a number of hot main and side dishes on offer. Ihad pork chops, catfish, grilled fish, broccoli-cheese rice casserole, candied sweet potatoes, green beans, cranberry sauce.Lots of dessert options, too many for 1 meal! Pecan pie, coconut cream pie, bread pudding, and soft serve vanilla ice cream. Weeven were offered a takeaway for our scraps for our service dog in the truck, and more ice tea to go. All in all? Solid homecooking, cute and clean atmosphere, great, personable service, and real value for money on the Sunday evening buffet. We'll haveto give the Fri or Sat seafood buffet a go another visit! They have the best buffet. Fried fish, chicken fried pork, fried chicken, salads. All delicious and always hot and fresh.
My husband and I were traveling on vacation and stopped here based on the reviews. I had no intention of eating from the buffet... as I usually prefer to order from a menu. However, one look and I changed my mind! The food looked so fresh with a variety ofchoices, including home cooked vegetables, and I was sold. It tasted as good as it looked! It was reasonably priced too. Itwasn't just the food that was good though. The staff was so friendly and the service was great! We both said we would eat hereall the time if we lived close by. Best place I know of to go out to eat. I live in Louisiana. I drive 100 miles once a week so I can get a good cooked meal at a... good price. The waitress there are kind and they serve you well. Out of all the places I've ate at in my 60 years of life. Thishas to be the best and the most that makes you feel at home all at a good price ! Read more

We were camping nearby and saw this pop up on Google and decided to give it a try. It was wonderful. So wonderful we went back... two days in a row. The food was fresh and they change up entrées and sides every day. We were there for lunch and it?s bigenough that even if they have a lot of people it doesn?t feel crowded. The fried pork loin and fried chicken were outstanding.But the pies are the stars. Best pie ever! It?s a cute place, super clean with great service. Read more
