This place is a true gem. It has a very friendly atmosphere. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They have bith... indoor and outdoor dinning. They are right on the water. The view is absolutely stunning from the pier. You will eat well hereas the food quality is very good. When you go here you will spend a bit of money, but it is worth every penny. For me and mywife it was about one hundred dollars. This included appetizers, drinks, and the main course. You will pleasantly enjoy thisrestaurant. We will most definitely be dining here again. Everything tasted really good. It has awesome views. You can watch the tide roll out or come in. They have indoor or outdoor... seating. We got there at low tide and ate. While eating the tide changed and we got to watch the tide come in. We got to seedolphins swimming and catching fish. From the outside sitting area I watched several species of crab, and even seen a stingray. Read more

TLDR - food is nothing special, but the location is beautiful. Food: it wasn?t bad, but it was nothing special. Nothing seemed... particularly unique or refined. What we did have was well prepared though. Surprisingly, there?s very little locally sourcedseafood on the menu. The only semi-local item was Georgia white shrimp they?re using in a couple dishes. Location: greatlocation. Just about every seat has a view of the bay. There?s indoor and outdoor seating. You can hang out on the dock whileyou wait for a table. They had a surprisingly good live band playing too. Like seriously good. Read more

The family and I were our strolling around looking at the beautiful, huge oaks surrounding the Resort. There is ample parking... beside the restaurant. We decided to stop by The Wharf for a late afternoon snack. Our kids were quite cranky, but our waitress,Carrie, I think, was just absolutely delightful and so patient with them. She had these lovely turtle earrings that grabbedtheir attention and she quickly delivered snacks to distract them. She also chatted with us about our visit and recommendedwhere we could visit to have turtles swim up to us. So cool! We got the maple glazed salmon that was on a bed of kale. Therewere also raisin and pecans on it as well. We also got sweet potato fries. We paid about $40 for the snack, before tip, but itwas delicious. Highly recommend going, especially for the wonderful service. Read more

Well, I've read the mixed reviews and am compelled to share a phenomenal experience. First off, I was there about half an hour... before the rush and the service I received was remarkable. Both friendly and attentive from the greeting to the bar tender tothe waitstaff. I had a crab cake that was absolutely delicious, followed by a generous low country boil served in a pot withlots of everything, definitely could be split by normal-sized humans. I absorbed copious amounts of sweet tea, broughtdiligently each time my glass hit the .25 mark. Finally, I cleansed the palate with good old Georgia pecan pie I can onlydescribe as sublime. I wished I had room for a second slice. My visit was amazing. I will say, locals and visitors alike werepouring onto the wharf as I was leaving and the restaurant had filled up while I ate, so reviewers who have gotten spoiled byempty covid-era restaurants may resent that their server now has to manage more than two tables, but the seafood and servicewere brilliant for me.
