My husband and I were in town visiting and looking for a steakhouse. I Found this gem through Google. We loved everything about... this place! The atmosphere and service was warm and welcoming. Our server was Danielle, she was very personable, helpful andknowledgeable, she could tell it was our first time and we trusted her with her recommendations and they did not disappoint. Weshared the shrimp cocktail and escargot, then both had the filets and added a lobster tail with the chefs special side of theday followed by the pecan pie all taken down with a delicious bottle of red. Everything is made in house which made it even moreenjoyable. You can taste the effort the chef puts into all of his foods, from the steak sauce to the desserts. We told ourfriends and family who live here about this place and they are excited to try. We are also eager to return at our next visit. Read more
What a amazing place and cool story. The service the atmosphere were only the tip of the iceberg. Once we were served that... Porter house for two...I was speechless, both me and my Father (was a Father's day and my birthday celebration) mainly because Iwas filling my mouth with the strip side of that amazing steak. Cold dry aged for 7-8 weeks, grain feed beef from Kansas orColorado..it is exactly what beef is supposed to taste like .pure heaven. Being a Executive Chef the majority of my career I toopay attention to detail...and seeing the owner run the hostess stand , spec out tables , look at every dish coming out of thekitchen, bussing and doing table greets for every table sat... you know you're in good hands .. he's a master of his Craft andit shows. Unbelievable service!!! If I could give 10 stars I would. First - the food is delicious!!!! I really recommend the porterhouse... for two. We came here to celebrate our mom?s birthday and we had a blast. We walked in with a cake and the owner kindly grabbedit to take it to the back until we were ready. After dinner, they placed all the candles on it and brought it out singing happybirthday- the whole staff! It was such an amazing moment for our mom - she felt so special. They took it back again to cut itfor us and to our surprise they added their home made whipped cream and strawberries to the plate. It was so sweet! First?.ask for Tara?..second if you enjoy ?Peter Luger Style? steak? i.e. sliced and presented ?..it?s amazing ??nice wine... selection ?..the mushrooms and brussel sprouts were delicious as was the bread (which seems to be made in house). Hard to put everything into words. Had a "feeling" that this was the steakhouse to choose in Jensen. I had not been referred,... nor did I look up for reviews. I just went with a gut feeling. From the moment we walked in the door, we were completelyimpressed with the decor, the service and most importantly the food. The ribeye steak may just have been the best I've evertasted. The lobster crab bisque was amazing. It is a place that to appreciate you understand that it is not a "cheap"restaurant. What I mean is you get what you pay for. For anyone who appreciates good food, fantastic service and a warmatmosphere, you will not be disappointed. The next time we are back in Jensen Beach, this will be a "must do".
