I don?t leave reviews often however, great food needs to be recognized. Having recently moved to Jersey City, I have been on the... hunt for great Caribbean food and pleased to announced that we have found it. The establishment is cozy and tastefully decoratedproviding a welcoming ambiance whether you?re here with family, friends, or on a date. I ordered the Yard Fowl and the onlytime I put down my fork was when it slipped out of my hand. This dish is spicy, wholesome and incredibly flavourful. I?m verycritical when it comes to recommending food, but the Yard Fowl is a knockout ?. Also it?s Halal! Read more

I was disappointed with the food. I really wanted this place it to be my new go to for Jamaican food. I ordered the curry... chicken, mac and cheese, peas and rice, and cabbage. My curry was a bit burnt and tasted as if it was scraped from the bottom ofthe pot. The mac and cheese and cabbage really didn?t have much flavor and the mac and cheese was salty. I didn?t like theflavor of the peas and rice either. I usually don?t leave reviews I only left a review because based on the price of the food, the food should not be burned or bland. Read more

Such a great dinner spot. The yucca fires are so tender and crispy. The tofu curry was delicious: perfectly cooked cabbage,... tasty stew and fluffy rice. The ginger beer topped it off. A delight! Read more

Excellent service for my group of five on a Thursday night! The atmosphere is really cozy and the yucca fries were amazing. I... had the rasta pasta, which was OK, and the bread pudding, which was absolutely incredible and gooey. It?s BYOB, also, andthere?s a liquor store just across the way. Read more

Sub par Caribbean food. As a Jamaican American from NYC it was nice to see this restaurant and I told myself that I would try it... the next time I was in the area. Unfortunately I was underwhelmed by what I was given and hate that I ordered it to go anddidn't realize until home what I would be stuck with. I ordered a ginger beer, cod fish fritters and curry beef with rotti (theyhad no shrimp nor goat which is what I preferred). -ginger beer was no such. It was just basically ginger water. -cod fishfritters were pan seared like u might do a salmon cake and mushy within. 3 in serving... I did not eat them past the taste dueto being mushy. Menu doesn't state how they would be made guess that's my fault for assuming they would be fried as theytraditionally are -curry beef rotti was just ok. Did not have much flavor atleast I was at home and could add pepper sauce tospice it up some. Truly disappointed ???? Read more
