Friendly staff and good drinks. The food was not good. I had the apple roasted pork. Which was pork and then clearly covered... with apple pie filling after the fact. We?ve been here a couple times recently and I always base my reviews based on ?expectations based on pricing and location?. If... you walk in, it?s very outdated but at the same time reminiscent of a supper club, which is exactly what it is. Brown walls andold leinies and other beer decor. Service is friendly. The fish fry is really good and reasonably priced. Dinners come with asalad bar that is pretty standard, nothing fancy but nice to have. Ive had the baked fish with broiled shrimp and my husbandhas had the fried fish and both of us were very satisfied. Drink prices are typical but the best part of this place is theyserve pink squirrel dessert drinks (they also have grasshoppers)! It?s rare to find a place around here that has them and it?swhat I look forward to when I go. We?ve also both had steaks medium rare done here and they were cooked perfectly. Mine couldhave used a touch more seasoning but otherwise good. One of the things we appreciate about this place is the simplicity. It?snot fancy, it?s quiet, and you can really enjoy someone?s company here (especially since there isn?t any cell service lol). Read more
