Still searching for that great local pie. I think this is the 8th or 10th different pizza place I've tried since moving to the... area - lost count. I tried my usual three items (when available): garlic knots, meatballs, and pepperoni pizza. Garlic knotswere outstanding. Best I've had since moving here. Gave me great hopes for the pizza that was to come. The meatballs were verygood and the marinara sauce was also good. I got some crunchy fibrous texture from onions that I don't like but it was minor.Alas, the pizza was decent - nothing more. I enjoyed it and would not hesitate to stop if I were in the area. But it's not thegreat local pie I'm searching for. I'll keep looking. Venue was nice but nothing special - standard fare. I would not hesitateto return. Service was spotty. The chicken parm was excellent. The vegetarian lasagna was a bit of a disappointing surprise… there wasn’t a single lasagna... noodle in it. Or ricotta or mozzarella. Just veggies and sauce. It would be like ordering a meat lasagna… and just gettingBolognese sauce, instead. Read more

Not sure how this place has gotten such good reviews. The service was good, but the food was barely passable as Italian. I don't... think they added any garlic to either of our dishes (chicken parmesan and spinach ravioli). All we could taste was marinara.They also do not serve alcohol, which was a shock to us, and we wouldn't have come if we had known. Italian is always betterwhen served with wine! We stopped by Giovanni’s tonight and I was so excited to see they had a keto menu! I haven’t encountered many Italian places... that offer a full low-carb menu. Unfortunately, my salad arrived with a big ugly black hair nestled under the carby croutons soI pushed the salad away. Because our server didn’t check back with us for about 20 minutes, my uneaten salad sat in front ofme waiting to be sent back while my family finished their salads. When the server brought our food, I told her about the hair.She apologized calmly and brought me another salad. I didn’t badly want the salad while my zucchini pasta was sitting in frontof me getting cold. The zucchini with meat sauce was fine. Not impressive and somewhat watery, but I was glad to have anythingthat resembled Italian food. I didn’t expect magic when working with zucchini instead of pasta. My husband reported that hismanicotti was “ok”. The keto bread was pretty great, so that was a nice surprise. I did bite into the regular bread beforemy keto bread arrived because t he server failed to tell me the bread she put in front of my plate wasn’t my low-carbbread. I thought/hoped our server may offer to comp at least my drink or the bread for the salad with a hair in it, but shedidn’t. She wasn’t a bad server but also was not particularly proactive or much beyond “ok” in her service delivery.I’m not a demanding customer but I was confused why a hair in food and a long wait was not a prompt to offer a customer somekind of small compensation or soft drink on the house. For these reasons, I can only give this place a 3 star review. I’d liketo try their keto desserts around the holidays but sadly won’t make this a regular spot. Read more
