Outstanding meat. The rating is based solely on the quality of the pulled pork in my sandwich. I won't say that it's the best... I've ever had. I don't know what is. But it is in the top tier of all the BBQ places I've been over the years. The meat was thatgood. The bun was very good too but the buns at BBQ joints are usually nothing to write home about so doesn't take much toimpress. I also had baked beans and fries. The beans were OK - not in the top tier - but pretty good. Same with the fries.Although I did very much like the seasoning on the fries. The venue is not so great. Needs a lot of work. Not a place to takesomeone on a first date - unless he/she loves great BBQ. It won't stop me from coming back. Read more
Mouthwatering!!!! The Brisket is really good. I've been there maybe 6 or 7 times and it's always really good. The staff is... friendly and professional. The pulled pork really good. I got the pulled chicken without the bun with a side of greens and Mac n cheese. The bbq sauce is some of the best I?ve ever had... and the greens were amazing. I got the pulled porked with two sides, baked beans and potato salad and everything tasted very good. I have to say too they?re... not stingy with their meat like some restaurants are coz I had enough meat on my sandwich I could?ve made two sandwiches! It?sdefinitely worth trying if you haven?t yet. My wife and i placed an order through Facebook for pickup. I ordered the stuffed grilled cheese with a side of collard greens... and baked beans. My wife ordered the stuffed potato with pork and a sweet tea. Strange to come into a BBQ restaurant and be theonly one there, besides the one staff member than was behind the cash register. My order was short a drink so the lady poured 2canned diet cokes into a styrofoam cup, instead of using the fountain dispensers, that was odd. She wasn?t very friendly butwasn?t rude by any means. Anyways, the sweet tea was very sweet and really good! My sandwiche was stuffed with pulled pork andcheese, very nice smoke flavor on the pork. The greens were seasoned, very nice! Beans were ok. My wife?s stuffed baked potatowas 15pounds. Literally, family worthy. But it was also great, way more than either of us could eat. Read more
