Food was delicious. Hard to find authentic Mexican food the flame is on point. Service was great super friendly and clean.
The barrio tacos were sublime. Delicious crunch filled with tender meat. Heavenly. Daughter had shrimp tacos - they were great.... We were driving through Iowa and looking for good food, what we got was even better. And the chips, queen & salsa are homemade.SO GLAD we found this place. Great place to come and get some authentic Mexican street food. If I'm not mistaken, this place opened up after they first were... operating as a taco truck. Their tacos and burritos had so much success that they had to open a restaurant. My family came herefor the first time and the tacos were amazing. The burrito was great! Taste like home, Michoacán! I glanced over, and they hadsome portraits of the people of Mexico. In particular a map of a town in the state of Michoacán which I found very interesting! Read more
The inside is too small and needs to take out a table to allow room to order if not dining in. The chips, assuming they are a... made in house, have a good seasoning but a few seemed stale. The birrias tacos were good, I suggest the corn tacos. Verysurprised with how much I enjoyed this place regardless of the looks from the outside/small seating space inside. Rating: 4.1out of 5. Best chips & salsa around. Although do yourself a favor and get the guacamole & queso cheese dip to go with. The homemade... guacamole is absolutely addictive...I'd stop in JUST for that alone. The fried chips are very crispy and delicious. This placeseats 22 people max, so it's quite often full, and you may have a brief wait. However, it's basically a fast-casual restaurant,so most people just stop in for a quick bite. Everything on the menu that I've tried has been great, however I'm a big fan ofthe chorizo street tacos in particular, and make sure to get some hot sauce on the side. Read more
