Visiting family in Johnston, SC and went to this place for takeout. So happy I did! Finally! A restaurant in Johnston with a... delicious choice of southern comfort food. I had the meatloaf with macaroni and cheese and fried okra and it was awesome! Icalled in my order and picked it up at the drive-through window. The ladies working there were so very friendly. The food washot and very tasty! I will be back and can?t wait to try the desserts! If you are anywhere near Johnston, check this placeout. You can dine-in or call-in your order and pick it up. Great service! Wonderful friendly staff. We found this place while in SC for a wedding. Such a treat! You have to call and hear... the voice message! The food was delicious, especially the ribs, turnip greens, and squash casserole...just to name a few...andthe sweet tea was spot on! Definitely a sweet spot to visit while in Johnson! Read more
Fried chicken, squash casserole, bbq chicken, Mac and cheese, and black eyed peas were outstanding! My mom was hungry at 4:30... on Tuesday smatter noon and the food from the hot bar was fresh and delicious. Good people taking care of you as well! Read more
