I grew up going to Pancake House since the late 1980's. My Mom was a waitress there for bit. But it was her and my Dad's place... to go to eat or just sit for hours drinking coffee. They were regulars. They both have passed away. I moved out of the area andrecently moved back. Took my husband and kids there for their first time and my first visit in over 13 years. Most of the placehas remained the same. The nostalgia came flooding back. Even recognized the owner who was still at it! They were packed butservice was good and the food was delicious. In honor of my Mom,I got potato pancakes, something she often ordered. Now that Ilive close again,will definitely return. Prices are decent, something that is hard to find these days. Service was excellent. Came at breakfast /brunch rush. I ordered the 2x3x4 which means two eggs three bacon and 4 French toast.... I had two issues. My bacon, although cooked, was limp and chewy. The fatty part at the end was not edible. Maybe this isstandard unless you say crispy? The lessor issue was the French toast was cold, like it was sitting waiting for rest of order.Will definitely come again, because the service was great and they may have just had an off day. A favorite!! Menu: Nicely varied; many, many options Food: Always been so reliably yummy! Tasty, nicely portioned, whatever... we've ordered has never been regretted. Cooking staff is excellent, no matter what day we go. The soups are always so good. Thewraps are huge & delicious. The Florida crepes are fantastic. The burgers are great. Omelets are tasty. Pancakes are ginormousand moist and very good. Service: Never had a server that wasn't pleasant, attentive -- they've all been great & friendly! Wealways feel welcomed and valued. The bus'ing staff is respectful, nice, quick.
