I went through Drive Thru around 6 o'clock tonight and the service was absolutely awful, the people at the window were extremely... rude. I asked for sweet and sour sauce and I recieved BBQ sauce, I then asked if I could have the sweet and sour sauce I askedfor and it was basically tossed at me and then I had the window slammed in my face. Well as usual the chicken was good always is. But in the dining room there was no condiments for anything no butter for my rolls... know salt and pepper nothing it's always such a young untrained staff there. Some of the side dishes can be questionable aboutthe freshness which you can actually see with your eyes when you go there but like I said the chickens always good so I wouldsuggest going but just don't get the gravy or too much of it it made my friend ill. Upon visiting this afternoon, the young lady behind the counter knock plates onto the floor. I handed then back to her, she put... them back on the food bar to be used until I made a comment about it. Also on the negitive, the rolls were rock hard and theynever brought more as they said they would. Doesn't look like any adult leadership which is very much needed. Oh the possitive,the chicken chunks were great tasting and pretty fresh. The rice an broccoli casserole was terrific. The last time I was here,the drive through shorted us and forgot sauce, napkins and forks which she insisted were in the bag. All in all, there arebetter places to eat in joplin. Potentially, this place could be great but is lacking leadership and they need a major lesson inkeeping the kit hen cleaner and attention to detail on customer service needs an over haul. For years when I worked on that end of town I I ate here all the time for lunch. It was always very good. It's close to home... cooking as you're going to get these days. I go there once every few months when I'm in the area. The last time I was there wasthe only time I was dissatisfied. Went down and bought about 80 bucks worth of chicken and sides and they forgot our rolls, oursilverware and one of the sides. Not a world ending event, but a good reminder to always check the bag before you drive 15miles back home. With that being said, there is really nowhere else, in my opinion, in Joplin, to get good fried chicken. Oneof the other things that I really like is that they have gizzards and livers. The only problem with those is they should sell abucket of them just for me! I really like their gizzards. The sides are good, broasted potato wedges, it's all very good. I justdon't know of any place else around here unless you want to drive to Pittsburgh, that you could get these kind of dishes. Keepgizzards on the menu and I'll keep coming back! Read more
