October 7, 2022...The atmosphere of the restaurant is really pretty great...we were not impressed with the smoked chicken... nachos. The chips were a little hard and the chicken was a bit dry. Our entrees were beautifully presented and for the most partwere tasty. *** After John returned my call we had a great conversation on how they are going to revamp their nachos and hesuggested for us to come back and he offered to make it right?? ****Ya'll today, Oct 11, 2022 the food was FANTASTIC! Westarted with the stuffed mushroom appetizer and the flavor was delicious and the mushrooms were not mushy????...then the baconwrapped shrimp with their special sauce was out-of-this world yummy! Then came the big fresh salad with bits of fried chickenand honey mustard dressing that the hubby enjoyed immensely. My crunch burger was quite tasty especially with the seasonedfries. Wonderful ambiance, met with a friendly hello. I ordered the Maple Pork Chops with smashed potatoes, it came with a salad of... romaine, iceberg lettuce, croutons, cheese, tomato, and the sweet onion house dressing, along with 2 big pieces of garlic toast.Absolutely devine, the chops were tender and full of flavor. We enjoyed this great Cafe! Our server was sweet but a little stretched. She didn't seem to really know about items on the menu... or offer suggestions when we asked. The salad was great. The house made chips were good. The burger was a little above averageand the salmon was a little above average. It was all good but not great other than the salad and the dressings.
