The hostess wasn't really nice and had an earbud in her ear the whole time. I don't it as long as she gets our order right which... she didn't. I asked for homemade lemonade she said oh yeah it's homemade she brought some store bought lemonade I asked hermanager about it she said oh yeah we don't have homemade. Okkkkk. The Julian Grille is a great spot to stop and have a relaxing lunch on their breezy outdoor beer terrace. Get there promptly at... 1100 when they first open and grab the table by the waterfall fountain to enjoy the soothing sounds of the trickling water andappreciate the ambience that dulls the sounds of nearby conversations and traffic. Located conveniently across the street fromthe Apple Pie Company which should be your next stop for coffee and dessert. I had the Wrangler which was delicious and veryfilling. It?s a Philly cheesesteak with Au jus and comes with a choice of side salad, soup or fries. The side salad was a decentsize for a side and the house Apple pecan vinaigrette is delicious. My wife had the tuna salad but substituted a salmon filet ontop instead of tuna and was equally satisfied. The food was probably the best in Julian. The girls do their best, but the service is a little slow. But the food made up for... that. The burger was amazing and the fries are crispy and delicious. I?m just doing this as a PSA This meal was probably the worst mean I?ve ever had and I paid $55.92 for it. When they brought out... my lentil soup I thought yeah that tastes like something that just came straight out of a dog food can. The paucity of flavorfrom my main dish was unnecessary. I never write negative reviews but the quality of this food?. I got the Apple cider mimosa,that was a 7/10. And the butter that comes with the bread basket was good. Read more

Cute place, tasty food & great service. I had the trout almondine & my husband had the ribeye. Both we're good. The baked brie... appetizer was amazing. We also enjoyed the chocolate cake! When we first walked up it was very off-putting to see 2 differentsigns directing us to be nice & respectful...ect. It made us anticipate bad service & attitudes & to basically not complainabout it.
