This is a delicious BBQ spot in a shopping center with plenty of parking. There?s indoor and outdoor seating as well as takeout.... Ordering is done at the counter then the food is delivered to the table. We definitely ordered more food than we could eat.Several meals come with 2 side dishes. The Mac and cheese, baked beans, and Cole slaw were tried by our group and very good-especially the Mac and cheese. The ribs fell off the bone. The rib tips were difficult to eat with the plastic knife and forkbut they were ok. The pork Mac and cheese sandwich was devoured. I ordered Mrs. Smokey?s BBQ for dinner for my family last night and had delivered. I was pleasantly surprised, being that we... have very few really good BBQ spots in the area. My wife is super picky with BBQ and she absolutely loved it. I ordered theSmoked brisket. It was lean but moist, as was the pulled pork, all with great smoky flavor. My wife got the smoked chickensandwich and Loved it so much that she?s ready to go back. The baked beans were really good, Mac and cheese was good but I doprefer a baked Mac n cheese, (personal preference). The portions for the price were fair and the sauces were tasty. I had the chopped brisket with collard greens and Mac n Cheese for lunch. All were delicious! All needed salt but still quite... good! I feel that a lunch menu would be a great addition as the portions are a bit much for lunchtime. IMHO But I'm notcomplaining. Just wouldn't liked the option to spend less that $25 for lunch???? Well, this was the first time I went to this place, as you can see I have fried pickles, macaroni, beans, and I think they were... pork ends or something anyways, service was good besides the fact that it?s more of a southern Texas style restaurant instead ofa legit barbecue I mean granted it is barbecue, the things that stuck out to me number one being that odd Cowboy name or cowgirlnames you get second the fried pickles were bland. The macaroni was not great. The meat was okay a bit too smoky for my taste,which kind of lost the taste of the actual meat. Overall, like I said, it wasn?t great, but it?s almost being on the verge ofpretentious. If you?re going to have a cowboy or southern style theme restaurant then you should probably name it accordingly. Read more
