Do not come here for breakfast!! The review pictures for dinner look decent but breakfast was truly the worst we?ve ever had.... Just 4 options. This one cost $16!! Would have been better at Burger King. No taste whatsoever to the hash browns, I had tocompletely douse it in salt. $5 for OJ which was just totally full of ice. Feel truly ripped off. Read more
Sammy?s was decent. As someone who loves planes, the views were excellent. The menu and ordering system was completely mobile/QR... code based, of which did not work for us. The menu wasn?t the most expansive but worked for airport food. I got a burger withavocado and bacon, and it was actually pretty delicious. Definitely works in a pinch while at OGG. Read more
We?ve eaten here 3 times in the last 16 months, including today for lunch, and we like it a lot, especially for airport food. ... Yes, it?s not cheap, but Maui and airports are rarely cheap. My wife and I both had the Cuban sandwich, and it was very tasty. Good cocktails too. Read more
If you?re eating here, it?s probably because the other 4 options closed already. Sammy?s at Kahului Airport provides hard... working staff delivering sub optimal meals to the packed tables of weary but shocked diners. Through no fault of the staff,the lighting, design, and layout were a visual panic attack that both shocked and mauled my senses. If the mission is toprevent loitering after your meal, MISSION ACCOMPLISHED. When my son?s meal (burger?) arrived, I apologized and suggested heeat rather than grow hungry on the flight. Yes, I laughed at his burger(?). In fairness, Sammy?s is pumping out meals inwhat appears to be an understaffed airport restaurant. What I can?t overlook, is the artery jamming grease, random sauces, androom decor that stop just shy of an assault. I had no idea ceiling fans could be designed to run in a dual verticalconfiguration (like an airplane prop?unsettling). The ambient noise added to a frenetic sense that the servers were sprintingbetween tables. I tipped well for a rough looking meal out of empathy for the hard work by servers. I want to acknowledgethe staff while simultaneously recommending that either the restaurant make some changes, or you eat elsewhere. Read more

We're at the Maui Airport--United Airlines????. Our original plane to LAX is delayed for now 2 hours. Our next plane is set to... arrive and be ready for boarding in an hour (its now 100 mins)....So we have food vouchers. We stopped at Sammy's. Alcohol isnot covered by the vouchers.
