This was a great place to eat. I had country fried pork chops,.and they were tender, they just melted in your mouth. One of the... pluses, Is the beautiful ocean view. Great place to watch the sunset while having dinner. Read more
The food was good and the service was good. Unfortunately, the steak was supposed to be medium rare on both our dishes but they... both came out well done (hence the loss of one star.) The gorgonzola was a great touch and made the dish. The calamari wasunique and good but not great. Even with the sauce and lemon, It was still a little bland. Food was delicious and we cleaned out plates. I had the fish tacos. My husband had fish n chips. His first impression was small... fish portion but he was satisfied! The kids had burgers. We needed a hearty meal and this hit the spot. We even had room forcheesecake and it was yummilicious!! Read more
Fosters is our favorite restaurant! We eat here anytime we visit my in-laws in Kona. Their food is excellent (try the seafood... puff pastry appetizer), service is great, and the view is amazing. We have yet to try anything we haven’t liked here. Read more

I cannot overstate the weirdness of this restaurant experience. It is crazy spendy for what you get. Staff is friendly, but... they do not have their acts together.
