The only person who deserves 5 stars is the delivery driver who tried to make it to my apartment. to start off the manager, or... person who was speaking on the phone, was rude to my fiance because she tried to tell the person over the phone that she wanteddelivery and not pickup. my fiance apologized and the person over the phone said in a rude tone "next time say delivery". thedelivery was late cause the lady over the phone got the wrong address. When the delivery driver arrived she called us and toldus that next time we give her the wrong address she will charge us an additional 5 dollars for delivery. If this is what cust.service is at this place then she needs to get fired. the person who deserves my respect was the driver who was very friendlyand nice and even apologized to me for going to the wrong location. that man deserves better pay. China Kitchen in Kalamazoo sets the standards by which I judge all other Kalamazoo Chinese restaurants. They don't have any... items in particular that amaze me beyond my wildest dreams, but their strengths are consistency, value, and quality. Forinstance, their General Tso's chicken is large, crispy, hot and spicy chicken pieces - they way it should be, and unlike otherrestaurants in town that specialized in "General Tso's Fried Bread Pieces." Their lunch special is a great deal (entree, rice,AND an egg roll) and always is served fresh. My only complaint is that the fried rice they serve with lunch combos is not cookedto order, but served warm from a rice steamer. however, given China Kitchen's foot traffic and proximity to WMU campus, it'shard for me to blame them for serving prepped fried rice, and thus I will not deduct any points. There are many options inKalamazoo for Chinese take out, but China Kitchen by far is the most consistent, and is pretty darn delicious as well. Read more

Ordered food online 2 times. Food has been fine and delivered within the time frame given, thought I wouldn?t consider it fast.... But I WILL NOT be ordering again due to their rude service. The second time the rice we ordered was not delivered. Just wantingthe charge removed for our order (since we didn?t receive the rice), we call to let them know. The woman who answered startedYELLING that she put it together, it?s definitely in there, she knows the rice is with our order. While it?s not a huge deal forrice, and we wouldn?t have been bothered otherwise, the extremely rude reaction is enough for me to take my service else where. Read more
