I tried this place based on online reviews. The burrito I got was marginal at best. Sure it was a lot of food, but it barely... had any flavor. The carnitas pork looked like it had been boiled.. It?s a $12.00 burrito and they want to up sale to addcheese and sides of beans and rice and chips and salsa. Asked for ice water and only had bottled options for water and soda. Itcould have been a $20.00 lunch which is ridiculous for Mexican. There are better sit down places to eat Mexican in Kalispell. The employee that gave me the food just handed it to me and didn?t even say thanks. Read more

I ordered a burrito today around 130 and received it immediately. Great service when taking my order. However, my burrito was... not even warm, when i ate it in the restaurant. Maybe I\'ll give it another try. Hopefully it will be atleast warm the nexttime. Read more

We decided to try La Casita yesterday based on great recommendations and reviews saying that the food was authentic and tasty.... We got tacos (al pastor and carnitas) and a burrito (al pastor). Everything is an upcharge here, which I feel is important tonote - there is no ice water and no fountain drinks (only bottled drinks), cheese is extra, chips and salsa are extra, rice andbeans are extra... Our total for two people was around $40. Which I can get past but our food was mediocre, at best. The alpastor was very bland, chewy and full of fat/gristle. The carnitas was better but still lacked flavor. The flour tortillas aremade in house and it did improve the burrito, however as a whole, the burrito was filled with more than half rice, very littlemeat and beans (I could not detect any cheese or guacamole) and overall lacked flavor. I opted for the red sauce on top which islabeled mild, and it definitely is. I also got some medium salsa on the side, which I considered mild but I poured the entirecontainer on my burrito which helped the food. The texture of everything was also very strange with the cabbage in it.\n\nIwould definitely not call this authentic. It was decent American style, but not authentic. We plan to try again for breakfast togive it another chance, but if you\'re looking for something flavorful and more authentic for a decent value, La Casita missesthe mark. Read more

This local restaurant is delicious! The staff is always friendly and welcoming! The restaurant is clean and the menu is simple.... This is one of the very few places that remind me of home and I am from Yuma, AZ. Their tortillas are handmade, fresh salsa andyummy breakfast burritos! My favorite is the Chimichanga with Pastor! Not to mention the refried beans are good too! So if youwant to try this place give them a shot and I definitely recommend to check La Casita out! Read more

I was told this was the best place for street tacos and they were definitely WRONG. The Carne asada was tough to chew and had no... flavor. My chili Verde burrito was just as boring. Looks like they use their pork 2 ways: it\'s cooked like pulled pork(notcubes), then they put green sauce on it and called it chili Verde!!!...& it still lacked any of the traditionalspices(cumin, garlic,ROASTED PEPPERS,etc)I took 2 bites and threw it away. Their beans were the only thing on the plate that hasany flavor. We also tried the chips and hot salsa. Chips were served warm, but not homemade. Salsa was ok,but definitely wasn\'thot.\nWe were excited when we walked in and saw people making homemade tortillas, but that was the only good thing about thisplace.\nRestaurant look stylish, good service, but BLAND INEDIBLE food that looks great on a plate, but lacks depth of anyflavor.\nI\'ll stick to Vaqueros for my chili Verde.
