Amazing Bakery and mashawi (bbq'd meat and chicken) in Kanata! Shams has worked hard to refresh revitalize and deliver the best... fatayer (meat pies cheese pies etc...). Our favorite bakery item is the meat and cheese pie but often we mix it up! They justlaunched their mashawi (bbq'd meat and chicken) end of August 2022 and they are amazingly delicious. Tried their filet minion,ground beef kabob and chicken skwerea and all are highly recommended! Excellent swecie and quality. Don't miss out, this placeis a west end gem and highly recommended! Delicious food and amazing service! This is our go to spot for meat pies, and now they have added more amazing food to their... menus! Great pies and now serving Kebabs etc...their food is always good and consistent. My main concern with this place is the... hygiene. Few times I've noticed that an employee smokes outside, washes hands for a few seconds w/o soap and is back to touchingthe pies. Other time, a gentleman gave a customer cash change and then touched pies which were to be served to someone. I'drecommend wearing gloves when touching food or washing their hands for a bit longer/properly and with soap. Really like theirfood, but if this happens again; I will find it hard to return.
