I dont like writing reviews, but since its been on going and I been eating here along time. The side choices and vegetables are... very good and they give a good size portion which I love. Lately the Meat Jun is cold and stale and the Bar-B-Q Chicken is alsocold and I always get served the bone part with little meat on it. Today I called and nicely asked for fresh Meat Jun and mymeat Jun was stale and cold once again. I know I can warm it up but I would love to have fresh, hot food. My Ohana has been getting Korean food from here for close to 26 years????!!! All my kids have grown up with it????!! The owners... are GREAT????! THEY TREAT MY OLDEST SON LIKE FAMILY!!! Ordered the Kalbi beef, teriyaki chicken. Sides were cabbage,macaroni, garlic potatoes and corn. You get to choose 4 sides.... There were plenty of other options, like my husband got the kimchi for one of his sides. Everything was good. The chicken was abit tough and super over cooked but the flavor was good. We stumbled upon this place and it was a great choice after a 4 hourhike. Had leftovers and heat up the chicken in the microwave and it tenderized it a little bit. Found this place by accident and was definitely not disappointed. I got the chicken katsu and my mom got the kalbi plate. The... side dishes were amazing and portion sizing was insane I only ate half of my plate. Would definitely come again! Read more

Food is okay, but the wait is always really long or backed up. I called my order before I left Waimanalo, and they hadn't... started it by the time I got there so I still had to wait nearly 15-20 minutes. I feel like they just need to find a way to bebetter efficient. The cashier kept asking me to confirm what my order was. The other cashier took an order, but wrote it on thebottom of the plate, which didn't make sense to me. I appreciate that it's made fresh, but you'd think they'd try get ahead ofthe rush when they know it's coming every day. Just seemed really chaotic. Read more
