Im from south Chicago but recently started working in kankakee. I was looking for some good tacos like back home and decided to... try this place. I walked in and thought i was walking into a storage space. The lobby is completely junkie and unprofessional,definitely didn't look like a functioning business. From there i was hesitant but decided to try the food anyway. I should havewent with my first mind and went somewhere else because the steak tacos are so nasty and filled with nothing but fat not tomention the wait time was long, just a horrible experience. I was on the far side of Bourbonnais. I called in an order for 2 steak torta's. I was told 10 minutes. Drove all the way there... gave him my name and he gives me a cheesy smile and says they have no torta's and chuckles. May not have bothered me as much buthe was laughing about it. At almost $4.00 a gallon for gas I sure would think he would know what they have and don't have. Weget food from there 3-5 times a month and I am sure it won't hurt anyone's feelings, but Isidro's will NEVER get another dime ofmy money. To many other Mexican restaurants in town! Read more
